Children's Museum and McDonald's- October 2007
We took the city bus downtown St. Paul to the Children's Museum. The students had a lot of fun riding the bus and then exploring the musum. The studnts had a great time getting the chance to use the hands on interactive activities they had. After we were done playing, we walked over to McDonald's and had a great lunch!

Belwin- November 2007
During the fall, we visited Belwin Nature Center. During our visit we went for a nature walk and looked for diffrent animals hidden in the woods. We then played a game with the animals. We got to race boats down the stream and play a game looking for the hidden animal sounds. After lunch, we went down to the pond and looked for tadpoles. We even got to try and catch some with our nets. We took a final walk and looked for animal prints.

Pump It Up 2007-2008
Pump It Up is an inflatable indoor park. The students enjoyed their time sliding, bouncing, playing basketball, and running through the obstical course. We are able to go to Pump It Up m few times throughout the school year with the Autism Classrooms.

Minnesota Zoo- December 2007
In December we went to the Minnesota Zoo. We had a great time looking at all the animals and getting to see the dolphin show.

Dodge Nature Center- January 2008
In January we went to the Doge Nature Center. We learned about the diffrent texures of animals we find in MN. We talked about how some are hard (turtle shell) and some are soft (deer fur). The studnets got to touch many diffrent animals. We also got to see turtles, snakes, and lizards. We talked about how some are big and some are small. The studnets enjoyed touching and holding the animals. We then went for a walk and got to see a bald eagle and owl that they have saved. We went for a walk and looked for animal prints in the snow.
