Hello, my name is Scott Gilles. I've been teaching at Highwood Hills for 25 years and have taught in second, third, fourth, and sixth grades. My children attended Highwood Hills and my wife taught in the Montessori program. Highwood Hills is my home away from home.
One of the highlights for sixth grade students is the upcoming trip to the Audubon Center of the North Woods, March 25-27, for three days of environmental education in the beautiful setting of the woods near Sandstone, Minnesota. Along with environmental education classes there is also the physically and emotionally challenging high ropes and climbing wall classes. The cost for the three day experience is $109.00.
