It is so exciting to see each child feel the accomplishment of reading.
We have learned many word wall words, and use them in reading our
leveled books, and writing. Each child has a reading pack full of books
we have read in class. As they add a book, they comment on the
amount of books they can read and use these books during independent
reading time. Some books they have brought home and can use these
books for reading practice. As the children read and write, their enjoyment
grows. It is a pleasure to see the growth and watch each child see the
value of learning.
