High School only - Social Studies resources that not only provide
information about history, but also guide students through the research
process. Sites include American History, World History: Ancient and

A database of encyclopedias, almanacs and specialized reference sources for high school level research.
Grolier Online
Seven online encyclopedias and reference resources. Grolier Online includes an encyclopedia in the Spanish language.
SIRS Discoverer
Contains articles and graphics from 1,400+ magazines, newspapers and
U.S. government documents. The topics have been selected to easily
integrate into classroom activities. Grades K-9.
SIRS Researcher
Do a quick and easy search for anything from Environmental topics
such as Tornado Protection to Business topics such as Jobs in an

databases of Spanish-language materials. The Professional Collection
database has full text periodicals with professional development in

African American Registry
A calendar-based series of accomplishments achieved by Black
Americans in history. This registry includes audio and video clips,
