*Literary Non-Fiction

             --Narratives embedded with facts

             --Question-Answer

Reading Workshop
      

*Daily literacy stations and independent reading
       *Daily skills:
          -Mondays-spelling final test of 15 words
          -Tuesdays-spelling pretest
          -Wed./Thurs./Fri.- break into groups for vocabulary or "making words"   lesson
       
       
Social Studies

Students will be learning about our American government.  We will discuss the history of the United States becoming our own country, and the three branches of the government.
      


**Homework
Students have a weekly homework packet.  Packets are given every Tuesday and due one week later.  Homework packets include a "week at a glance" sheet that give information regarding student homework and behavior and should be signed by the parent
